Let there be lights!

It is extremely doubtful that the present demand for emergency sources of electricity will diminish to any extent in the near future.  In fact, recent events have shown that it is imperative for many enterprises to have an alternative power supply available.  This is particularly important where operations are dependant on the availability of sophisticated electronic equipment such as computers, printers and particularly tills in retail outlets. 

Brisan-Turbo digitally controlled generator sets, now available from Partmaster, are designed to be specifically suitable for equipment that requires what is referred to as clean power.  Clean power is electrical current that is consistent with a stable sine wave.  The design of the Brisan-Turbo digital system uses a revolutionary form of inverter technology that processes the raw power produced by the generator and passes it through a special microprocessor that provides ultra-clean power with a sine wave equal or superior to the current from a normal household supply.  This also means that computers or other sensitive equipment can be operated at a remote location without the fear of interrupted service or damage to the equipment.

In addition to the above benefits Inverter technology dramatically reduces the size and weight of the generator because the alternator is built into the engine itself.  These models are approximately half the size and weight of conventional gen-sets.  Another plus is that the system incorporates a load sensitive governor that automatically adjusts the engine speed to the optimum level.  This reduces fuel consumption and operating noise and also lowers the production of exhaust gases in order to meet the strictest emission standards.

This super quiet generator, Weighing only 13kg, is extremely portable as well as fuel efficient, running for up to 8.3 hours on a single tank of petrol when used within its quoted output parameters. It is easy to start and produces only 46dB of sound at a distance of 7 meters running at full load, which is less than the sound of normal speech. The inverter makes this generator ideally suited for use with sensitive electronics. To prevent any possible damage to the unit an Oil Alert shuts the unit off when the oil drops below a safe operating level. The unit also has a DC terminal for use when charging 12-volt automotive type batteries. The available power is suitable for the following typical electric devices:

* Small Power Tools i.e. 1/4" drills
* Small Kitchen Appliances (i.e. Blenders)

Two of the same series generators can be linked in parallel to increase available wattage through the generator outlets.
